What Happens on the Walkthrough

The walkthrough takes about thirty minutes for most buildings, and it is how we build the quote. We look at square footage, floor types, the number and condition of restrooms, entry and glass, break rooms, and the access hours your building actually runs on. We ask what has gone wrong with previous cleaning, because that is usually the fastest way to find the tasks that need to be written down. Nothing gets quoted from a square-footage number alone.

What we look at

• Floor type by area, and how each one is currently holding up
• Restroom count, fixture count and traffic level
• Entry, glass and matting — the first thing anyone judges
• Break rooms, kitchens and trash handling
• Access hours, alarm codes and who lets the crew in

What we need from you

Someone who knows the building for those thirty minutes, and an honest answer about what has been frustrating. If you have a current scope or invoice, bring it — comparing line by line is the fastest way to see where a price difference actually comes from.

What You Get Afterward

You get a written scope, not a one-line price. Every task, the area it applies to, and how often it happens — the document your facility manager will use to check the work later. The number sits at the bottom of that document, so you can see exactly what you are paying for and what moving a task from weekly to biweekly would do to it. If you decide not to hire us, the scope is still yours to keep and to compare against other quotes.

About thirty minutes for a typical office, medical suite or restaurant. A large warehouse or a multi-tenant building can take an hour, because we walk each zone separately.

How soon after the walkthrough do I get the quote?

Usually within two business days. The scope has to be written task by task, and that takes longer than pulling a number off a square-footage table — which is exactly why it holds up later.
